As the W Hotels are doing a rebrand, the design goal for this space is aimed to continue appealing to its previous customers while adding elements to elevate the space to attract new customers as well. Nestled within Union Square Park, the historic building that holds the W Hotel stands as an oasis amidst the bustling city, bringing the growth of its surroundings into its very heart. The hotel and the building itself have come so far from when they originally started up and the people are the ones who made this Union Square location something truly special. The W recognizes that and wants to reciprocate this love by having this location symbolize growth and transformation. Here, guests arrive as strangers, but they leave as part of a community that celebrates what the W Hotel itself is turning into—a hub of culture, creativity, and connection in the heart of the city.
